Who plays a Rolland bow?
Long after Josef Suk called Rolland bows “fantastic”
and Lord Menuhin dubbed them “a gift for the
musician”, Rolland bows captivate yet other generations of
star string players like Anne-Sophie Mutter, Lynn
Harrell, Miriam Fried, Kim Kashkashian, Christian Tetzlaff and Julia
Fischer.
More than 1,300 string players and collectors acquired
Rolland bows. The following lists but a few names, an
evocation of the full body of musicians playing
Rollands.

" I wish to thank many more Musicians and
Concertmasters who play my bows in orchestras
Worldwide;
Each musician coming to the studio brings insights and
energy to perfect the bows;
Major soloists steadily offered time and attention to
my work. I am grateful to them for their generosity
and dedication;
May the bows faithfully serve their talent.”
Benoît Rolland
