Who plays a Rolland bow?

Long after Josef Suk called Rolland bows “fantastic” and Lord Menuhin dubbed them “a gift for the musician”, Rolland bows captivate yet other generations of star string players like Anne-Sophie Mutter, Lynn Harrell, Miriam Fried, Kim Kashkashian, Christian Tetzlaff and Julia Fischer.

More than 1,300 string players and collectors acquired Rolland bows. The following lists but a few names, an evocation of the full body of musicians playing Rollands.
